Wally was born...

We called her Grandma Wally not Grandma Christopher because Warren's Mom was still alive until 1960 and would be Grandma Christopher. Rather than confuse Dayle and Bernie, who were old enough to talk, they decided to call Walborg: Grandma Wally, and Warren: Grandpa Warren.

Grandma had many sayings. A couple of my favorites were "life is a bowl of cherries, or something, mostly something" and when I would say goodbye with "see you later," she would come back with "not if I see you first."
