Ancillaries or Supplementals
The High School Economics textbook package comes with all the ancillary materials you would expect from a high quality textbook company and MORE. Each unit has: PowerPoints, review sheets, worksheets, vocabulary lists, simulations, quizzes and tests. Click on the ancillary below to see a sample. Note: test and quiz examples are not available for obvious reasons (we don't want students to have access to these), contact us for more information about assessments.
PowerPoints - the PowerPoints are comprehensive, graphic-rich and include pop-quiz questions and discussion points. The author has produced PowerPoints for other textbooks and school districts (contact us if you want to know about Mr. Christopher creating quality PowerPoint presentations for your school or subject). Click here or the PowerPoints link to see a sample of PowerPoint in Flash. When you view the file be sure to allow Active X (you will see a box toward the top of your browser that you will have to select allow...). To return to this page at any time during the Flash movie simply hit the back button. The actual files are in PowerPoint when delivered to your school. If you have trouble with this sample please contact us and we will will send you a sample PowerPoint.
Review or Study Guides - each unit has 50-100 questions to help students find the most important information in the chapters for that unit. Each question can be answered from the textbook. These are presented in Word format and each teacher may re-write these as they see fit. A key is included. Click here or the Review Study Guides link to see a sample in PDF.
Worksheets - each unit has hands-on worksheets to teach students how to apply the concepts from the textbook. There are Internet research questions with almost every unit's worksheets. A key is included. Click here or the Worksheets link to see a sample in PDF.
Vocabulary - each unit has a separate list of the key terms from the chapters. Click here or the Vocabulary link to see a sample in PDF.
Simulations - numerous simulations are suggested for each unit. Click here or the Simulations link to see a sample in PDF.
Tests and quizzes - there are a mix of questions that range from simple recall to challenging application of the concepts taught. These are in Word also and the teacher may edit the test anyway he/she likes. All the keys are included. Email us to find out more.
